Picnic at Wesoła

With the summer holidays, picnics are back at Wesoła!

This year we will have fun together on 18 July and 29 August, and we also have the Happy Harvest Festival to round off the summer. Referring to the location near the Design Pharmacy, this year's events will be centred on the theme of health: something for the body, something for the mind, and, of course, we will engage all the senses.

The very first event in July will be packed with activities for the whole family. Herbal, lavender and eco-friendly workshops invite you to join us in discovering the secrets of nature. For those with a knack for crafts, we recommend rag dolls and patchwork jewellery. Arts activities include workshops and performances by the Groteska Theatre, walks and activities organised by the Toy Museum, and painting sessions under the guidance of specialists from the Academy of Fine Arts.

Young and old alike will be warmly welcomed by the Ambassador for the Revitalisation of Grzegórzki–Wesoła. You can take part in a game of boules (pétanque), a training session with the Active Ladies' Club, or a yoga class. We promote health and well-being, so head to the health zone and then relax in the chill-out zone with hammocks and beach chairs.

At the fairs, look for books and clothes, and eco-friendly products can be found in the food court featuring exhibitors from the Krakow Metropolitan Area. As always, the KBF Kids area will be waiting for parents with children.

Once we have tidied up together and caught our breath at home, head back to the Meadow in Wesoła for the evening screening (20:30) of the film Flow.
