Physical Activity and Active Living
A free library workshop on easy, safe ways for older adults to add regular physical activity to daily life
Moving the body regularly supports heart health, blood sugar control, strength, balance, mood, and energy. Physical activity does not need to happen in a gym to be helpful. Learn easy ways to add movement into your daily life, how to choose activities that are safe and realistic, and how to reduce common barriers such as time, pain, weather, or safety concerns.
Registration recommended.
This training is presented by Community Engagement & Consultation Group (CE-CG), a nonprofit dedicated to whole person wellbeing.
