Our July theme is "Journey/Quest" and we will be reading James by Percival Everett.
Historical Fiction. A reimagining of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn told from the enslaved Jim's point of view as he runs away to avoid being sold away from his family and Huck fakes his death to escape his violent father.
