Illumination Station
Library info table offering energy-assistance guidance and free LED bulb swaps (limit 3 per person)
Illumination Stations are information tables that provide an opportunity to learn ways to lower utility bills, apply for energy assistance, and receive items to help keep money in your pockets. Visit the library to get more information about energy programs and more!
You can also bring old incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs to swap for new energy-efficient LED light bulbs. There is a limit of 3 LEDs per person. The library provides standard 60 W equivalent LED bulbs that are 2700K (warm light). To swap more bulbs, schedule a Quick Home Energy Checkup with your utility company.
This station is presented in collaboration with Montgomery County Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Pepco.
