House Tapes is a club night focused on deep, soulful dance music — fusing the disco pulse of Chicago house, the mechanised soul of Detroit techno, and the improvisational energy of jazz.
For 31 July we're presenting two floors of dance music at Mena Berlin. Upstairs is a journey through funk, Italo and soulful house with Dublin's Adam Cooke, Berlin local Marco Ohboy and UK resident Joe Peck. Downstairs will be higher energy sweaty house with Berlin based Hannes and Dieseradrian, guaranteed to make you dance into the early hours.
