
Dig In! to Summer Fun
Free weekly Monday summer program for school-age kids with hands-on art, science, music and performances
Pick up tickets at the Information Desk in the Children's Room when you arrive.
No tickets will be given out more than one hour before the program (12:30 PM).
The participating child must be present to receive their ticket. Any siblings under Grade 1 must stay with a supervising caregiver at all times. Library staff may ask caregivers to park strollers outside the room if crowded.

8-Jun — Cleveland Museum of Natural History — Dino Detectives: Identifying Fossils Two sessions on June 8 only at 1:30 and 2:30 PM. Search to find clues using fossil information to uncover dinosaur facts.
15-Jun — Cleveland Museum of Art — Go Studio Accessible, hands-on art experiences for people of all ages.
22-Jun — Magician Bob Durante — Dig into Books Performance of fun magical illusions that are dinosaur themed.
29-Jun — Metroparks Watershed Center — You Don't Really Hate Snakes Learn about snakes with a common water snake, then make a snake craft.
6-Jul — Greater Cleveland Food Bank — Fun with Blueberries Listen to a story, and make and enjoy a blueberry smoothie.
13-Jul — Beck Center — Music Workshop Introduces musical concepts through playing with various drums.
20-Jul — Holden Gardens & Forests — Prehistoric Pathfinders for Families Families work together using a compass to find fossils and other fun items.
27-Jul — Beck Center — Visual Arts Workshop Flexible focus between painting, cartooning and pottery. Students will complete an art piece.
Beat the summer slide and get a running start into next school year at Cuyahoga County Public Library. This summer we are expanding our FREE summer programs for students. Registration is no longer required. Just drop in and enjoy reading, science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities.
This program will use a wide variety of products. By participating in Cuyahoga County Public Library's (CCPL) Summer Fun for Everyone programs, you are agreeing to the terms of CCPL's Release and Hold Harmless Agreement. If your child has allergies, please review the products daily with the children's staff at the host branch.
