Canva Basics (Pt. 2)

This hands-on class will introduce you to Canva, a FREE online software that makes graphic design easy! With Canva, you can create designs for work or personal use. We'll show you how to get started.

The class will be taught from a user perspective; perfect for beginners! No design experience required.

Lesson Overview:

• Canva Tools and Features: Learn Canva's key features, how to access its tools, & navigate the site.

• Practice Time: Create your own design with help from library staff.

• Visual Design Techniques: Get tips on colors, typography, and imagery.

Create a free Canva account in advance. Try to bring your own device. If you do not have one, please contact Tiffany Lam to request one of ours for the program.
