Skyrie

Skyrie Live in the Green Sanderson Hall at Hugh's Room, 296 Broadview Avenue

Show at 8pm, doors at 7pm. Wednesday October 14.

Skyrie is a contemporary Scottish trio who blend Scottish and Irish traditional songs, poignant original songs, dance tunes and soundscapes with modern influences from rock to funk. They use looping and layering and add rich harmonies, making the trio sound much larger. They have performed with artists such as Dougie MacLean, Shirley Manson, Big Country and Kathy Mattea, and at events including Celtic Connections and the Dundee New Year Hooley.
