ARMADILLOCON is for sci-fi, fantasy, and horror lovers. We offer a full weekend of panels, writing tips, books for sale, and an art show. It’s a fan-run convention celebrating science fiction, fantasy, horror and other weird stories and art.
We’ve been helping put the Weird in Austin reading and writing since 1979. This year's guests include Micaiah Johnson, Bruce Sterling, Elizabeth Moon, Rudy Rucker, MJ Kuhn, Plum Parrot, Martha Wells and more.
The convention will feature over 100 events for fans and writers – interviews, panel discussions, readings, scheduled gaming, signings, maker sessions, the Meet the Pros Party, the Writers’ Workshop for new and developing writers, an Art Show, and Dealers’ Room where you can shop and talk to other fans.
