Six-session beginner sewing course (English) with Becky Ray — bring your machine and make small projects
A 6-week course for those who wish to be more confident in using a sewing machine. In English with Becky Ray
Perhaps you have acquired a sewing machine and wish to know how to use it properly but would like someone to show you? Or perhaps you are a little rusty in your knowledge of how to use your sewing machine, fear not! Becky can show you!
During this course you will learn how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, use accessories that come with the machine (zipper foot, button foot, etc), and the difference between straight stitch and zig-zag stitch, stitch lengths and widths and when to use them. Learn also how to maintain your machine to keep it at its best.
You will be making small items such as a drawstring bag, an envelope cushion cover, a zipped pouch, a basic elasticated waist skirt, and how to sew a buttonhole.
