Quadrophenia
Screening of Quadrophenia, a 1960s Mod drama driven by The Who's soundtrack
It is 1960s London and Jimmy Cooper is working as a postie in the week and hanging out with his Mod biker gang at the weekends, headed by their leader Ace Face. They cruise around on their Lambrettas, chatting up women and getting into brawls with rival gangs.
A bank holiday weekend provides the perfect excuse for both groups to descend upon Brighton for a confrontation and for Jimmy to try and win over Steph, who he has a crush on. An iconic ode to the disillusionment of 60s youth culture, with an incredible soundtrack by The Who, whose album the film is based on.
Due to the conditions of our licence, we're unable to allow under 18s in the building after 10.30pm. Please check the finish time of any film, performance or class before booking. See our Families page for more information ahead of your visit.
