Pressure Drop: A Reggae Party
In Sheep's Clothing presents Pressure Drop: A Reggae Party! Continuing on the sub-heavy legacy of the Airliner, Pressure Drop explores the sounds of roots reggae, digi, lovers rock, dancehall, bass music, and beyond through a heavy, dubwise foundation. Expect everything from the foundational roots of The Congos to the majestic dub of King Tubby and the digital-lovers of Mad Professor's Ariwa Sounds to the punk-infused brass-reggae of Japanese group Mute Beat.
Happening outdoors from 2-7pm, the series will also feature Big Fun Sound System, a hidden local gem comprised of custom-built, modified, and vintage components that connect the legacies of legendary theater hi-fi with bass-heavy mobile reggae sound systems.
