Models & Hobby Standards

Kitbashes and 3D printed models are welcome but must receive organizer approval. Models should accurately represent what they are intended to be and match the appropriate base size and overall silhouette.

Painted armies are not required, but the standard Warhammer Battle Ready rule applies for the 10 VP bonus. For Ground Zero events, this simply means your army has at least two colors applied. Prime + Zenithal does count.

Chess Clock Policy

The purpose of a chess clock is to ensure both players receive an equal share of the round time. It is a tool to keep games fair, not a punishment.

If either player requests a chess clock, one must be used. Each player receives 75 minutes using the Frontline Gaming Chess Clock Rules.

If both players choose not to use a chess clock, that's perfectly fine. A visible 2.5-hour round timer will be used instead. When that timer expires, it will be treated exactly as though both players' clocks have expired.

If your time expires, you must stop taking game actions (after finishing any movement already in progress). You may only:

Make saving throws and required Leadership/Battleshock tests.

Draw or redraw Secondary Missions if allowed.

Perform actions that do not require moving models.

Score objectives or Secondaries already achieved or controlled.

Players will have 10 additional minutes to complete the current battle round and finish scoring.

Failure to submit scores before the end of that extension will result in both players receiving 0 Battle Points, regardless of whether a chess clock was used.

Deliberate slow play or abusing time to gain an advantage may result in penalties up to and including disqualification.

With 11th Edition being brand spankin' new, games will likely take longer than usual. RCM strongly recommends using a chess clock to ensure both players have an equitable share of the round time.

Intentional Results

Players are always encouraged to play their games to completion.

If both players mutually decide before the game begins not to play, the agreed loser may receive no more than 55 VP, and the agreed winner may receive no more than 80 VP.

Schedule
