About: Acclaimed jazz flautist Gareth Lockrane (Louis Cole, Bheki Mseleku, Quincy Jones, Dick Oatts, Bokani Dyer, Jules Buckley, Nikki Iles) brings an all-star band of long time collaborators to play his original compositions drawing on a wide spectrum of influences drawing on contemporary jazz, world music, hard bop, soul and blues. The band will be playing pieces from his acclaimed albums "The Strut" ,"Fistfight at the Barndance" and "Box of Tricks" amongst some newer, unrecorded tunes.
