This Saturday’s edition of BUMP CITY features special guest LXXX, a local DJ/artist/producer who has been contributing to the Meanjin community for years. Whether it be through sharing music via DJing or working behind the scenes with the artist collective Shoku helping to bring together creatives for showcases and jam sessions.

With a vast array of musical knowledge from jazz to hip hop to electronic music, Alex has his ear to the ground in terms of new and classic music that he threads in his DJ sets. Joined by local Bump City resident selectors Limestone Cowboy and WAHL, all up you have about 70 years of DJing combined.

Catch all three this Saturday from 7pm as they weave their way through a genre bending vinyl journey from all corners of the globe to present you classic sounds and the best music you’ve never heard.
