Avoiding AI: Hands-on Help

You should have a choice about when, where and if you use AI. If AI is appearing on your phone or computer uninvited, and you would like some help in figuring out how to avoid it, this session is for you. I will be available to help you

• Uninstall AI assistants (e.g. Cortana, Gemini) • Disable AI features in everyday programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Gmail) • Disable AI overview answers in Google search • Help you set up alternative search engines (DuckDuckGo, Brave or Qwant) whose AI answer features are easy to turn off

This is a walk-in session. No registration is required.
