Art Journaling for Teens
A free low-pressure art-journaling workshop for teens to explore mixed media, collage and creative prompts led by artist Anna Redish
Looking for a chill creative space to relax, make art, and express yourself? In this fun and low-pressure workshop, teens will explore art journaling through painting, collage, doodling, creative lettering, and writing prompts — no artistic experience needed.
Participants will experiment with layered backgrounds, magazine cutouts, aesthetic journal styles, quotes, stickers, and mixed media techniques to create pages that reflect their personality, interests, and mood. Whether your vibe is messy and expressive, cozy and aesthetic, bold and colourful, or inspired by fandoms, music, anime, or pop culture, this is your space to create freely.
The session begins with a guided prompt and creative inspiration before teens work at their own pace in a supportive and welcoming environment. There’s no “right way” to journal — the focus is on creativity, self-expression, and having fun rather than making something perfect.
Facilitated by artist Anna Redish, this workshop encourages creativity, confidence, and individuality while giving teens the opportunity to unwind, get inspired, and connect with other creative people.
