Event program: This is a mostly informal event to bring together and thank the community of writers, readers, and supporters who have made the fifth issue of Splinter possible. We will have a short program of readings from the issue and some brief (we promise) speeches. Light refreshments will be provided and copies of the issue will be available to purchase.
Accessibility: Please find a map for accessible entry to the State Library here . If you have any specific accessibility requirements or queries, please contact [email protected]
About the issue: This issue was produced in partnership with the Don Dunstan Foundation to celebrate the centenary of the former SA Premier's birth. Many pieces in the issue explore themes relevant to the Foundation's priorities and Dunstan's legacy – including housing precarity, First Nations land rights, climate justice, and the state of progressive politics.
Thank you to The Don Dunstan Foundation, Adelaide University, Flinders University, Creative Australia and all of our subscribers for your support of Splinter .
And also to our launch sponsor Miss Zilm wines.
Splinter is published by Writers SA.
