Demo Plot Weeding

Providence Farm Collective operates a demonstration plot (aka "demo plot") where farmers can experience hands-on education from our farm crew throughout the growing season. This space also serves as a significant source of income generation for Providence Farm Collective's programming, selling to wholesale outlets focused on serving communities in need of fresh food access.

This season, our farm crew needs help ensuring this space stays weeded! By signing up to volunteer during this session, you can expect to work alongside Heather, a member of PFC's farm crew, to weed. All volunteers will be provided with the proper tools and training upon arrival. No previous floral, gardening, or farming experience necessary!

Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or wet. Closed toed shoes are required. Please see your volunteer handbook for additional details on parking, personal belongings, weather, etc.
