GAS?
A Dublin comedian confronts painful childhood memories in a raw solo stand-up about bullying, addiction and identity.
Gas is the story of an unsuccessful hack comedian that has an existential crisis when he gets a heckle off a fellow comedian, "you have better material in your jacket than you have in your act" which prompts him to question as to why he is even doing standup comedy. He reminisces about his childhood to look for answers to why he became a standup comedian in the first place.
What he uncovers are buried stories of bullying, drinking and fighting growing up in a tough Dublin Inner City Flat Complex. These events of his past had a larger influence on him than he thought. Will he be able to banish these demons and what will he do when he meets the biggest Bully of his childhood years later.
