The Garden Table is Descanso Gardens’ monthly dining series featuring seasonal, chef-curated menus inspired by California’s local produce. This month’s menu is a collaboration between Daniel Mattern of Friends & Family and Alex Weiser of Weiser Family Farms.
The evening’s entirely vegetarian menu highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with specialty cheeses, vibrant seasonal salads, grilled flatbreads, and thoughtfully curated wine pairings served throughout the meal. Dessert features a refreshing fruit sorbet.

About Friends & Family Friends & Family is a seasonal cafe and marketplace featuring fresh baked goods in East Hollywood where Daniel is the head chef.
