Teen Open Mic
YOUmedia's free open mic for high school teens (13–19) to perform poetry, spoken word and music with first-come signups.
Welcome to YOUmedia's very own open mic! This program is run by Brandon, a YOUmedia summer intern working with us through After School Matters. Brandon is a musical artist providing teens opportunities to show their talents. This open mic is for all arts including visual, performing, and musical — we welcome slam poets, regular poets, spoken word artists, musicians, and more. Snacks will be provided.
This event is hosted by Brandon and open to all teens in high school aged 13–19. Sign-ups to perform start at 3:00pm and are first come, first serve.
