Jamaican producer recreates his landmark 1981 dub reggae album in full live plus more.
King Tubby protégé Scientist helped pioneer the dub genre in the late 1970s at Studio One, gaining a reputation for his distinctive mixing style. Scientist soon became the principal engineer at Channel One, releasing a series of classic albums in the early 1980s such as Scientist Meets the Space Invaders, Scientific Dub, Scientist Wins the World Cup, Scientist Encounters Pac-Man, Scientist and Jammy Strike Back and Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires.
Five tracks from the album were used in the K-Jah radio playlist in the 2001 video game Grand Theft Auto 3.
