Free 2.5-hour renter education workshop offering practical tools and a resource manual to help tenants resolve housing issues
Rent for Success is a FREE 2.5-hour renter education program designed to educate and empower renters to make safe, healthy choices in their housing, and to provide helpful resources to tenants so that they can effectively resolve tenant/landlord disputes to remain safely in their homes or find a new rental opportunity.
Presented by the Department of Neighborhood Services.
You will learn how to: understand rental agreements, advocate for yourself legally, repair your credit, get a free credit report, respond to housing violations effectively, find healthy food, end a bad tenancy, and select the right place to rent.
You will receive: Certificate of Completion and a 50-page resource manual.
