Prem - STEM

One in ten children are born before 37 weeks and with that comes different early life experiences. You may be asked to avoid crowds and stay home. There could be other medical conditions with early learning and milestones getting put off to go to appointments, and schooling comes with it's own challenges.

This session is to provide school age children and families with extra learning experiences in a low pressure and calm environment.

We will:

• Enjoy a sea slug petting zoo (no real sea slugs will be used) • Have a chance to use a microscope and explore pond life. • Design a table top aquarium for display. • Include the parents, with a break station. • Have a reading of "The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen." 2:00pm

This is a drop in program with an accessibility focus. You may stay a few minutes or the whole session as you like.
