Open Studio: Sculpting Stories
Drop-in clay workshop at the Hirshhorn inspired by Juan Muñoz and other modern artists, every Friday and Saturday in July
Get inspired by the Hirshhorn classics every Friday and Saturday in July at Open Studio! Each week, weâll take inspiration from groundbreaking artists of our time, such as Alexander Calder, Olafur Eliasson, Juan Muñoz, and more. Join us this Friday as we draw inspiration from artist Juan Muñozâs sculpture Last Conversation Piece (1994â1995). Muñoz enjoyed telling stories through the figures of his sculptures. Inspired by his artistic practice, weâll experiment with air-dry clay to tell stories of our own.
