Manus & Matcha

Who doesn't want an iced matcha in the middle of a hot London summer, with a slice of matcha cake on the side?

To keep everyone in matcha, we're taking over Matcha Mochi on City Road for the whole day. And while we're there, we'll put Manus to work building real AI agents for small shops just like this one.

Come to build, or just pop by for a matcha and a chat. Both welcome.

Who it's for Builders, engineers, founders, operators, and anyone curious about matcha and AI. You don't need to be a hardcore coder. Knowing a shop's real headaches counts as much as knowing a stack.

What you'll build Build anything that would make a real shop's day easier. A genuine problem and a good idea beat a fancy stack. Want a starting point? The café owner will share a few real problems on the day, but bring your own and run with it. Solo or in a team (up to 4).

Hosts around to help. 17:30 Food and a breather. 18:15 Build again. 19:30 Show and tell. Demos, three minutes each. 20:00 Judging. The crowd and Manus Fellows pick the winner. Champion gets 1 month of Pro.

How we'll judge Real world usefulness first: could a shop actually deploy it? Then agent autonomy, product thinking, and a clean demo. The crowd and a panel of Manus Fellows pick the winner together, so everyone gets a say. One rule: build it here. Bring ideas and boilerplate, but the project ships on the day.
