Levee (/‘lavi/ or /‘laver/) or dyke, is an elevated ridge, alongside the banks of a river, intended to protect against flooding OR (it’s this one.) Levee is a sapphic centered electronic dance night that draws inspiration from queer club culture.
Levee is BACK at Val’s (@valslesbianbar) this July (7/18)! 9pm–1am at Val’s Lesbian Bar, Philadelphia. FREE — there’s no charge to come dance this night.
Music by Hopifer and Firestone (of Polari, A Queer Agenda). Expect pop edits, hyperpop, club, trance and more. It’s gonna be really hot and sexy and fun and queer — lesbians kissing on the dance floor highly encouraged.
