
Kill Team at PoG: September
One-day 3‑round Kill Team tournament at Plenty of Games with Swiss+Win Path pairing and a $30 entry fee
This tournament series serves as an opportunity to develop your understanding of Kill Team matched play in a friendly competitive environment. Intended to be a testing ground for larger ITC events, all official Games Workshop competitive updates released at commencement of the tournament will be in use.
This will be a mixed format event, with tables using all three Kill Zones described in the Kill Team Core Rules: - Hazardous Areas Bheta Decima (New England v2.0 with Lap's tweaks) - Close Quarters with Gallowdark/Tomb World - Volkus
Key Details: - 3 round, one day event. - Swiss + Win Path pairing as recommended in the GW Kill Team tournament Companion. - 2 hour total game time, comprised of 15 minutes pre-game and deployment and 1 hour 45 game time for resolving game actions. A 5 minute round end warning will be issued and any game results not received at game end will be recorded as Double Loss. - Chess clocks optional (use at the request of one player who must provide a device or app) with 52 minutes each player. Players who run out of time make no in-game decisions other than those required by the mission. - All Balance Dataslates and FAQ rulings applied (no rules lockout)
Bring your miniatures, dice, measurement tools, cards, rules and other game aides.
Entry Fee: $30. If you spend $30 on Warhammer related products in a single transaction on your PoG account from 24/08/26 to 20/09/26, you can use this for entry in lieu of getting a store credit prize.
Prizes (not applicable if entering using eligible purchase): - $20 store credit for all participants paying the entry fee. - $10 bonus store credit if every model in the Kill Team is Battle Ready and uploaded to the Painting Competition channel on the Plenty of Games Discord.
