Illumination Station
Library info table offering energy-assistance guidance and LED bulb swaps to help lower utility bills
Illumination Stations are information tables that provide an opportunity to learn ways to lower utility bills, apply for energy assistance, and receive items to help keep money in your pockets. Visit the library to get more information about energy programs and more!
You can bring your old incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs to swap for new energy efficient LED light bulbs. Bring as many bulbs as you want; limit of 3 LEDs per person. Please note only standard 60 W equivalent LED bulbs (2700K warm light) are provided. To swap more bulbs, schedule a Quick Home Energy Checkup with your utility company.
This station is presented in collaboration with Montgomery County Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Pepco.
