Expect an evening at EKKO that puts house back on the map. Drop right in and come dance at the coziest house party! For this edition, house fanatics Frontroom and Julia van Praag will fill the evening with warm, soulful, and funky grooves of 90s and early 00s (Chicago) house.

Originally from Nijmegen, now firmly rooted in Utrecht, Frontroom brings an infectious mix of groovy 90s and early 00s house with a funky edge. Inspired by the iconic house scenes of Chicago and New York, he plays sets centered on warmth, grooves, and danceability. With a keen sense of timing, he effortlessly balances energetic floorfillers with deeper, soulful house sounds.

Julia van Praag brings an irresistible dose of energy to the dance floor. With a deep love for early house, complemented by influences from disco, Italo disco, and synth-driven grooves, she creates warm and surprising sets that constantly oscillate between nostalgia and innovation. Julia has rapidly made her mark on the Dutch house scene, performing at venues including Parasol, Groff Festival, Drift, Sissi’s Amsterdam, and Paak.
