Faetooth is a three-piece “fairy doom” band originating from Los Angeles. The group is composed of Ari May (guitar and vocals), Jenna Garcia (bass and vocals), and Rah Kanan (drums). Formed in 2019, the band navigates personal vulnerability and musical experimentation, exploring the nature of self, the beauty of the natural world, and surrounding mysteries.
Drawing inspiration from doom metal, black metal, shoegaze, and sludge, the self-described term “fairy-doom” characterizes their distinctive fusion of sounds.
