On a quest for escapism — Catching Cairo blooms.
A captivating singer, songwriter, and vocal powerhouse born and raised in North London, Catching Cairo is making bold waves across the dance music spectrum. Weaving her surroundings and raw emotion into every lyric, she channels life, love, and London into unforgettable soundscapes.
A true gem of the UK underground, her voice is unmistakable — rich with feeling, tinged with nostalgia, and capable of igniting dance floors while tugging at heartstrings. Since 2013, she’s been building an uncompromising sonic identity, writing and collaborating with a range of renowned artists. From early releases on Rinse, Maison Kitsuné, Chase and Status’ MTA Records (and SHY FX’s Digital Soundboy) to chart success with Jakwob on the UK Top 40 hit Somebody New, she’s carved a lane entirely her own.
With iconic releases on Shogun Audio, Critical Music, UKF, and DnB Arena, Catching Cairo’s vocals have become part of the very DNA of drum & bass, jungle, and beyond — lending soul to seminal tracks by Kasra, Hybrid Minds, London Elektricity, BCee, Sustance, and Mungo’s Hifi.
Previously known as Tiffani Juno, she’s also the voice behind Touch, her now-legendary 2017 anthem with Hybrid Minds, which has amassed over 70 million streams on Spotify alone.
In 2023, she dropped her 5-track debut solo Aura EP; in 2025 she released the Bruz EP with collaborations across the UK scene.
Cairo’s sound pulls from alt-R&B, dub reggae, indie, and the legacy of Black British sound system culture. Timeless, unfiltered, and unapologetically her.
She’s been shutting down stages across the UK and beyond, going viral with a jaw-dropping Balamii set and joining Becky Hill on a UK arena tour. As Catching Cairo continues her ascent, one thing is clear: the voice of the underground is no longer underground.
