
Beginning Quilting 1
Hands-on beginners' quilting class to learn cutting, piecing and reading quilt instructions at the library makerspace
Join us to sew and learn the basic skills needed for quilting. You will learn how to use a rotary cutter and rulers to cut accurate pieces, then sew the pieces together to create a block. You will also learn how to read the quilt instructions to create the blocks and layout to create a quilt top.
Please register. A signed waiver is required to use this equipment. Experience with basic sewing machine operations is required. Basic sewing machine operation will not be covered in this class.
