Weekly beginner piano group for ages 8–teens teaching basics, sight reading and games
Interested in learning piano but not ready for formal lessons?
Join this fun, low-pressure group class for beginning piano students. Participants will learn basic piano technique, sight reading, and music theory through hands-on practice and music-related games.
Classes include group instruction, one-on-one support, and opportunities to collaborate with other students. Taught by three experienced Albany High School students.
For ages 8 to teens. No experience or equipment required.
Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests.
