Basildon Pride

Basildon Pride Festival takes place on Saturday 5th September 2026.

Basildon Pride was founded in 2018 following a significant rise in hate incidents directed towards the LGBT+ community. The festival brings together local artists, collectives and community groups for a day of celebration, visibility and action, with music, performances, stalls, family-friendly activities and community outreach.

The venue is a queer cultural and social space in London hosting parties, workshops, inclusive screenings and community brunches, with programming attentive to marginalized publics and inter-community encounters.
