AI Waste Classification Workshop

Students will use Google's Teachable Machine to train and test an artificial intelligence (AI) model to identify items as compost, recycling, or trash, demonstrating how AI can be used to promote sustainability but may also make mistakes. This workshop is presented by a teen volunteer with project-based experience applying data science and programming to target environmental issues.

Free. No registration required. Recommended for students in Grades 6–9 but younger children are welcome with adult supervision.
