3D Paper Art
Hands-on 3D paper craft workshop for kids and families with ARTY Van Gogh, part of the Broward Libraries Summer Learning Program
Broward County Libraries Summer Learning Program 2026 has teamed up with the Mobile Art Studio, Art Reaching Today's Youth, Inc. (ARTY) to create 3D paper art projects based on the summer learning theme, Unearth a Story.
We will create a paper dinosaur, a volcano and a palm tree using recycled materials such as chipboard, tagboard, paper towel rolls and cardstock.
Kindergarten through adult are invited to participate; younger children should be accompanied by an adult. Please register the name of each attendee.
About ARTY Van Gogh: Artist and art teacher Libby Hodges had a vision for making art activities and visual arts education accessible to more people, especially children. From that desire came the idea for creating a mobile studio. A team of dedicated volunteers transformed the bus into Arty Van Gogh, complete with new flooring, worktables, seating, and a paint job that turns heads wherever Arty goes. The plan for creating a mobile art studio started with making sure the space would be comfortable for students and functional for various activities and styles of art.
