JERUSALEM
FVCC Theatre stages Jez Butterworth's acclaimed dark comedy about Rooster Byron, an outlaw living wild in the Wiltshire woods.
Flathead Valley Community College's Theatre Department presents the acclaimed play JERUSALEM by award-winning playwright Jez Butterworth. This show is intended for mature audiences - it includes adult themes and coarse language.
The story follows Johnny "Rooster" Byron, a charismatic, anti-authoritarian ex-daredevil living in a mobile home in the woods of Wiltshire, England. Set on St. George's Day, local authorities attempt to evict him as his chaotic, myth-laden community of misfits slowly unravels. A poignant, contemporary exploration of the tension between the desire to preserve the magic of the past and the inevitability of change, this visionary work is a must-see.
Join us on campus in Kalispell for performances October 22-24 and October 29-31 at 7:00pm in the FVCC Joe Legate Black Box Theatre. Tickets are available online at fvcc.edu/theatre or at the box office one hour prior to each performance: $15 general admission, $10 seniors, and free for students.
