Life Drawing Classes (weekly pay-as-you-go)

Weekly pay-as-you-go Life Drawing classes with artist and tutor Scott Bridgwood. Ideal for complete beginners or more experienced artists seeking a flexible opportunity to draw from life with experienced models and professional tuition. No need to commit to a long course; book the dates you can make and pay for individual sessions.

You will be encouraged to pursue your own style with guidance from the tutor as required. Scott supports individual needs and goals, covering areas such as draughtsmanship, composition and concept. A range of drawing materials, paints and papers are provided and we aim to rotate models to offer a variety of body types each week.

This term there will be 12 Tuesday sessions 18:00–20:00 (14 Apr 21 Apr 28 Apr 5 May 12 May 19 May 2 Jun 9 Jun 16 Jun 23 Jun 30 Jun 7 Jul) and 9 Friday sessions 18:00–20:00 (17 Apr 24 Apr 1 May 15 May 22 May 12 Jun 26 Jun 3 Jul 10 Jul). Please book each session individually.

About the tutor: Scott Bridgwood is a practicing artist with over 30 years' experience after graduating from Chelsea School of Art (1992). He has taught in Rome and at Attenborough Arts Centre for nearly 20 years, and also teaches at De Montfort University.

Further information: Participants must be aged 18+. All materials are provided. If a session is sold out a waiting list operates via Box Office 0116 252 2455 or arts-centre@le.ac.uk. Courses are non-refundable if cancelled within 21 days of the start date. Carers/PAs are welcome and their place should be booked free of charge. For access needs contact the Box Office. The venue has blue badge parking and nearby short-term parking for blue badge holders.
