Stateline

In 1976, a family leaves the "Golden State" to "save the world" and breaks down at the Nevada-Utah border. A half a century later, having left behind a burned-out idealism Ruth wrestles with a fading memory as she tries to tell her family's story of a son's rage, a missionary's secret, and an undocumented teenager's kindness colliding in the shadow of the atomic desert–a play about the lines we draw in the sand and how we survive them.
