PyData Venezia: PyDataVE #27 - Urban Mobility & AgenticAI
PyData Venice meetup with two talks on urban mobility analysis (City30) and an agentic AI pipeline for insurance claims, in-person + YouTube streaming
PyData Venice
Dear all, we’re back with the PyData meetups, focused as always on sharing best practice, methodologies, analysis, machine learning systems with the open-source projects of the NumFOCUS program — but not only!
We’ll meet in presence on Thursday, June 18 at 7:00 PM. We’ll be hosted by Anda Venice Hostel in the Medusa Room and, for those who cannot join us, it will also be on YouTube in streaming.
We’ll have two sessions one in Italian and one in English:
• Fabio Lamanna (founder) will present an analysis of the real impact of "Bologna City30", the 30 km/h limit, using Floating Car Data with QGIS and Python to compare pre/post driving speeds and measure compliance with the new limit.
• Claudio Giancaterino will show a MultiAgent system that turns car damage photos into an insurance claim assessment in minutes, where an Orchestrator coordinates a Vision Agent (GPT-5.2), OEM/Aftermarket Cost Estimation Agents (Perplexity), and a Shop Finder Agent, each running a transparent ReAct reasoning loop to return damage severity, comparative repair costs, and recommended shops.
Afterwards, for those who want, we’ll stay for drinks and food and networking until late.
If you’d like to share ideas, projects, topics, or propose yourself as the next speaker, use the usual Google form or Sessionize. Per info e prenotazioni visita: https://www.meetup.com/pydata-venice/events/312820095/
