GOB

Gob is a punk band from Vancouver, Canada, known for nearly thirty years for their melodic, hook-oriented sound and strong DIY mentality. The band broke through in 1995 with the single ‘Soda’ from the album Too Late… No Friends, a song that became a youth anthem in Canada and garnered significant attention via MuchMusic.

With Tom Thacker, Gabe Mantle, Theo Goutzinakis, and Steven Fairweather in their ranks, Gob combines energetic punk rock with catchy choruses and powerful live shows. Over the years, the band has released six full albums, sold over 300,000 physical records, and received both Juno nominations and Gold certifications. International tours and performances at festivals such as Warped Tour, Edgefest, and Amnesia Rockfest solidified their reputation worldwide, while a performance at Budokan in Japan marked an exceptional milestone.

After a semi-hiatus, Gob returns with reissues of their entire catalog on vinyl via Dine Alone Records.
