An adventurous painting workshop exploring curiosity and the benefits of working with uncertainty, play and investigation. Paint and practice skills in a series of exercises working with acrylics and diverse materials. Create studies, variations, and learn how to intentionally encourage more freedom in your painting process.
Enjoy an afternoon of creativity and connection, guided by nationally recognised artist Karlee Rawkins with thirty years of painting and teaching experience.
Curiosity will be held at the Never Never Art Studio, a custom designed workshop space, open to the forest and the banks of the Never Never River in beautiful Gleniffer, 13 minutes from Bellingen.
Devised as a mini creative retreat. All materials provided. Coffee, teas and scrumptious cake freshly baked by Bellingen Organic Teas, fruit, wine and cheeses.
Please bring 2 favourite or found items - ideally one object and one image - as reference material. Wear clothes to get messy in or a painting apron. $150 plus booking fee. Limited places for this small-size workshop.
