CREATE: Tiny Landscapes

CREATE is Creative Curiosity's monthly project series where we explore a new hands-on art project each month. Together, we'll slow down, learn a few new techniques, and enjoy the simple satisfaction of making something with our hands.

Each gathering is designed to be approachable, relaxed, and process-focused. You'll receive step-by-step guidance while having plenty of room to experiment, explore new techniques, and make the project your own.

This Month

Tiny Landscapes Discover how much beauty can fit on a small piece of paper. This month we'll paint a collection of tiny watercolor landscapes inspired by mountains, deserts, coastlines, forests, and open skies. Working on a small scale encourages you to simplify shapes, experiment with color, and capture the feeling of a place through light, texture, and atmosphere.

You'll learn watercolor techniques for creating depth, mixing natural color palettes, and building simple landscape compositions. By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a collection of miniature paintings and new skills to continue exploring watercolor at home.
