Bars After Dark
An immersive one-night rap showcase with live beats and eerie projections hidden inside a downtown Salem black box theater.
Presented by Bars Over Bars and The Lost Library
You've seen Salem by daylight. Now discover what happens after dark.
Hidden beyond the shelves of The Lost Library, an intimate Black Box theater comes alive for one night only with Bars After Dark — an immersive Halloween-season rap showcase in the heart of downtown Salem.
Step inside, leave the October crowds behind, and enter a dark underground world of live music, heavy beats, eerie projections, and some of the area's rising hip-hop talent. With performers taking the mic throughout the night and visuals surrounding the entire room, this isn't your typical concert — it's a hidden Salem nightlife experience made for Halloween season.
Whether you're visiting Salem for the weekend, exploring the city after the attractions close, or looking for something unexpected to do at night, follow the music and find your way inside.
One night. One hidden room. Nothing but bars.
