ALEA

Hey people, We are Alea. Alea is an event that is new to Leeds and aims to bring the best music to the best crowds. Alea is a shortened word of the musical term aleatoric, music that is created and performed determined by chance. We wanted to play with this idea, with Alea bringing a sense of the unexpected. We aim to unite people solely through music. No ego, no names, Alea is purely about bringing people together through the music. Our sound is focused on the underground, combining the likes of garage/ breaks/ acid house/ disco house. The focus of our local DJs will be digging deep into these genres to unlock sounds and moods you may not have heard before. We want Alea to be a rounded experience, giving everyone a taste of the vastness of electronica. Our first event takes us to the wonderful Hope House. This intimate venue is the perfect home for our launch event and we want it to be a night to remember. We have a lineup of some of the finest Dj'ing talent here in Leeds and this is not one to miss. We are also raising money for the wonderful MAP charity which aims to give children a better future through the means of musical education. If you're looking for a party like no other then Alea is just for you. Doors open at 0:00 and last entry is 0:30. This is a safe, inclusive space for all. Tickets are priced at £13 and proceeds go to the wonderful MAP charity. No phones will be permitted on the dance floor to ensure you relax, focus and unwind to the amazing music that will be on display. Feel free to send any question or enquiries to @we.are.alea on Instagram. We are so excited for this first event of many! Thank you, Love Alea x
