Stone Dead

Stone Dead (Alcobaça, Portugal) have established themselves as an alternative rock band that blends haunting melodies with a raw, cinematic energy that is both vintage and unpredictable. Rooted in rock but open to experimentation, they move between hypnotic grooves, ethereal atmospheres and moments of explosion, constructing a language of their own where tension, dynamics and detail take centre stage.

Their debut album ‘Good Boys’ (2017, Lovers & Lollypops) marked Stone Dead’s emergence on the Portuguese alternative rock scene, standing out for its distinct identity and sound consistency. They have appeared at renowned national festivals such as Super Bock Super Rock, Vodafone Paredes de Coura, SonicBlast Moledo, Milhões de Festa, among others.

They now return to the recordings with the release of “Milk” (2026, Suburbia), reaffirming their place at the forefront of alternative rock. The new album features songs that blend melody, heaviness and a sense of journey, reflecting the natural evolution of a band that remains true to the spirit in which it was born — direct, visceral and incendiary.
