UK-based, Melbourne-born artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Audrey Powne is a creative force carving a distinctive path through the contemporary jazz and soul world. Described as "very brilliant" by BBC Radio 6 Music tastemaker Gilles Peterson, Powne is equally revered for her extraordinary technical prowess as both a trumpeter and vocalist.
Her unique compositional style bridges traditional jazz with modern R&B, hip-hop, and soul influences, drawing inspiration from pioneers like Herbie Hancock and Roy Hargrove to create hook-laden, cinematic soundscapes.
