Live show by genre-blending artist Gvllow fusing punk, darkwave and hip-hop in Paris
Gvllow is a Riverside, California–born solo artist, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and producer known for blending elements of punk rock, gothic rock, post-punk, darkwave, hip-hop, and trap into a distinctive, genre-defying sound. Growing up in the Southern California punk scene, he began playing drums at age nine and regularly attended shows at venues like The Showcase Theatre in Corona, watching bands such as The Adicts, TSOL, Dr Know, and Subhumans — influences that would later shape his musical identity.
In 2015, Gvllow became involved in the underground rap world, DJing for artists such as Ghostemane and Lil Peep as part of the collective Schemaposse, and later performing as a touring DJ with City Morgue.
